A Safe Home. A School Bag. A Future.

Every child who arrives at OCPFN carries a story of hardship. Some were found abandoned on the streets of Kathmandu. Others were rescued from forests or abusive households. A few were born into impossible circumstances that no child should ever face.

What transforms their story is not charity alone, it is consistency. A safe home means they sleep without fear. A school bag means the world opens up to them. The knowledge that someone cares means they believe they have a future worth building.

From a Small Room to a Movement

Seventeen years of consistent, compassionate work, one rescued child at a time.

The First Home in Dhapasi

Binita, her sister, and her mother rent a small room in Dhapasi. They begin caring for a few helpless children with personal savings and community support.

2011
Official Registration, OCPFN is Born

With the support of 11 dedicated individuals, the foundation is officially registered with the District Administration Office, Kathmandu. The first rescue mission brings five children from Nisi, Baglung.

2011–2015
Growth, More Children, More Reach

The Work Behind the Numbers

Protection is not a single act. It is a continuous, daily commitment to every child's safety, dignity, and well-being.

Rescue Operations

Children reported by police, municipalities, or community members are assessed and brought into safe custody by OCPFN staff through established legal channels.

Safe Living Environment

Every child lives in a clean, secure, and nurturing environment. Adequate food, clothing, hygiene, and medical care are provided without exception.

Emotional Support

Trained staff and volunteers provide consistent emotional support, helping children process trauma and build the confidence to thrive.

Community Integration

We work alongside local communities, schools, and health services to ensure children are socially integrated and not stigmatized by their past.

Long-Term Self-Sufficiency

OCPFN's goal is not dependency, it's independence. We equip children with the skills, education, and confidence to build their own futures.

Health Monitoring

Regular health screenings, vaccinations, dental care, and emergency medical support ensure every child stays healthy and cared for.

Our Vision for the Next Chapter

The work is far from finished. Nepal has thousands of children who need protection, and OCPFN is committed to growing its capacity to reach more of them, with better facilities, a stronger team, and sustainable funding.

Support Our Future
