Our Child Protection Foundation Nepal
Our Child Protection Foundation Nepal (OCPFN) was incorporated in 2068 B.S. in the Bagmati Zone, Nepal. Founded by Binita Aryal, OCPFN began with a heartfelt mission: to care for children who have nowhere else to turn.
Founded by Binita Aryal, OCPFN was established with a heartfelt mission to support orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable children by providing them with a safe home, quality education, and opportunities for a brighter future.
By 2011, their vision had grown. With the support of 11 dedicated individuals, the foundation was officially registered with the District Administration Office in Kathmandu. Today, OCPFN is overseen by a board of nine directors, including one full-time director dedicated to managing daily operations.
Binita Aryal: From a Dream to a Movement
Binita Aryal's journey began in 2008 when she witnessed the helplessness of a child cast out by her stepmother. That single moment of empathy planted the seed of what would become OCPFN.
In 2011, she founded OCPFN with her family and a circle of friends, transforming a childhood dream into a lifeline for Nepal's most vulnerable children, providing them stability, unconditional love, and the chance for a brighter future.
Our mission is to support people who have been left behind, especially those facing social discrimination, disability, or from disadvantaged communities. Through small steps and heartfelt efforts, OCPFN has made a real difference, recognized in newspapers and television programs across Nepal. Binita believes that every person deserves hope, education, and dignity. Together, we can make that possible.

Just as a child learns to stand, walk, and run gradually through continuous effort, similarly, building a capable and meaningful life also demands constant work.
Humanity is not defined by wealth or fame but by compassion, service, and moral values. When a person uses their talents and wisdom for the welfare of others, they become a true human being. Serving others is not merely an act; it is a divine quality that brings peace and fulfillment to both the giver and the receiver.
In today's world, service, donation, and cooperation are not only acts of charity but also acts of faith, sacrifice, and love for humanity. Therefore, let us all move forward with sincerity and unity, serving with a spirit of cooperation, humility, and selflessness."

Action Taken So Far
From our very first rescue to today's 75 children, each milestone reflects the compassion of everyone who believed in our mission.
First Rescue Mission
Rescued the first group of five children from Nisi, Baglung, beginning OCPFN's work in the field.
Street & Forest Rescues
Cared for children abandoned on streets or left in forests, providing immediate shelter and safety.
Abuse Survivors
Supported children born from abuse and orphaned by tragedy, giving them a second chance at a normal life.
Government Collaboration
Worked with local police and municipalities to bring children into safe, legal custody with proper documentation.
Education Enrollment
52 children are currently attending secondary school, and 5 have advanced to pursue higher education.
National Recognition
OCPFN's work has been recognized and featured in newspapers and television programs across Nepal.

The foundation relies entirely on the generosity of individuals and communities. Our funding comes from diverse, heartfelt sources, making every donation a deeply personal act of kindness.
